About the Role As a PACU Registered Nurse , you will provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. You'll work alongside a highly skilled interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care throughout the recovery process. What You'll Do Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical interventions Document care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic health record Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes Delegate and direct care appropriately based on team member competencies Support quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives Maintain clinical excellence through continuing education and professional development What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum one year of recent Pre-Op/PACU nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) ACLS and PALS certification upon hire or transfer Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Specialty certification Operating Room (OR) nursing experience Key Skills Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Ability to provide age-specific care across diverse patient populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to patient- and family-centered care Basic computer proficiency Why PeaceHealth?
