Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth. Administer medications and injections with precision, including IV infusions and aseptic techniques, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and wound care, including ostomy care and sterile processing. Manage acute pain and critical conditions by applying trauma medicine principles within Level I or Level II trauma center settings or emergency rooms. Coordinate patient care plans through discharge planning, case management, and collaboration with physicians in specialties like cardiology, ophthalmology, geriatrics, or behavioral health. Assist in diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, imaging procedures like sonography or mammography, and interpreting

coding for accurate documentation. Support diverse populations across inpatient and outpatient environments—ranging from neonatal resuscitation to long-term care—ensuring compliance with NCQA standards and infection control protocols. Skills Extensive experience working with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records management. Strong clinical skills in areas including ICU experience, telemetry monitoring, trauma medicine, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and critical care response procedures. Knowledge of advanced nursing practices such as IV insertion, venipuncture, airway management (ventilators), and basic life support certification. Familiarity with specialized fields like cardiology (catheterization), nephrology (dialysis), pediatrics (neonatal ventilator), geriatrics (memory care), or behavioral health. Ability to perform complex procedures including gastroscopic evaluations like gastric lavage or spinal taps; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is highly valued. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with physiology knowledge to deliver personalized care tailored to each patient's needs. Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality and regulatory adherence.
