What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Shift:
6:45 AM - 7:15PM Experience:
- 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
- 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
- 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience:
In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you're applying to.Special Requests:

Every other weekend required. 7 days maximum time off 2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months Driver's license required for submissionCertifications:
