1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring 1-2 years of recent ED experience and
ACLS/PALS
certification. Details Emergency Services department in a hospital setting 13-week assignment on night shift (7p-7a) Cerner EMR experience preferred Requirements Active AL or compact RN license required (no disciplinary actions) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide shift-based nursing care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO requests must be less than one week Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
