Hydra Health & Wellness is seeking a dependable, motivated Registered Nurse to join our outpatient wellness and primary care clinic. We are looking for someone who is clinically confident, personable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where responsibilities may vary throughout the day. Strong IV-start skills are required. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working independently within established protocols while also functioning closely with the provider and clinic team.

9:00 AM-4:00 PM Schedule may occasionally vary for clinic needs, special events, promotions, or community outreach with advance notice. Clinical Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will assist with a variety of clinical services, including: Initiating, administering, and monitoring IV hydration therapy Performing peripheral IV starts efficiently and safely Administering IM and subcutaneous injections Following established provider orders, standing orders, treatment protocols, and clinic policies Obtaining and documenting vital signs, patient histories, medication information, allergies, and pertinent clinical information Monitoring patients during treatments and recognizing potential adverse reactions Providing appropriate intervention and notifying the provider when necessary Performing venipuncture and collecting laboratory specimens Preparing specimens for laboratory processing Assisting with medication and injection education Providing patient education regarding prescribed treatment plans and clinic services Assisting the provider during patient visits and procedures as needed Assisting with women's health examinations and procedures when needed Supporting weight management, hormone replacement therapy, primary care, peptide/wellness services, and other clinic programs Performing appropriate telephone or in-person patient triage and communicating concerns to the provider Accurately documenting all patient care within the electronic medical record Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Clinic & Operational Responsibilities Because Hydra Health & Wellness is a small, team-oriented clinic, the RN is expected to assist with overall clinic workflow in addition to direct patient care.
Responsibilities may include:
Preparing and turning over patient rooms and IV treatment areas Maintaining clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical spaces Monitoring clinical, medication, injection, IV, and laboratory supply inventory Notifying management when supplies need to be reordered Assisting with patient flow during busy clinic periods Helping ensure patients receive a professional, friendly, and efficient experience from arrival through checkout Communicating effectively with the provider, front-office staff, and other team members Assisting with clinic events, promotions, or community outreach when scheduled Performing other reasonable clinical or operational duties necessary to support daily clinic operations
Qualifications Required:
Current, unrestricted Alabama Registered Nurse license Strong peripheral IV-start skills Current BLS certification Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail Ability to follow standing orders and clinical protocols accurately Strong documentation and communication skills Professional and compassionate patient interaction Dependability and consistent punctuality Ability to multitask and transition between different types of patient care throughout the day Ability to work collaboratively while also functioning independently within RN scope and established provider orders Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Preferred:
Previous outpatient, urgent care, emergency, infusion, IV therapy, or wellness clinic experience Experience with IV hydration therapy Experience with venipuncture, injections, and laboratory specimen collection Familiarity with weight management, hormone replacement therapy, women's health, primary care, or wellness medicine Who We Are Looking For The right person for this position is more than someone who can start an IV. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
