Key Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Experience in school-based nursing, pediatric care, or community health Skilled in health assessments, medication administration, and emergency response Strong communication abilities for collaboration with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic school settings CPR certification and a commitment to student safety Willingness to update or renew credentials as needed (RN Venita Renewal experience is a plus)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive health services to K-12 students and staff Manage daily health office activities, including administering medication and first aid Conduct health screenings and develop care plans for students with chronic conditions Provide emergency response for illness or injury within the school Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with district and legal guidelines Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students' overall well-being
