This role is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled in delivering specialized care to critically ill patients. As a vital member of the care team, you will play a significant part in patient outcomes and support families during challenging circumstances.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Previous experience in ICU or critical care settings required BLS and ACLS certifications (current and up-to-date) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare providers, patients, and families Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to remain calm under pressure
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, providing immediate and ongoing care Administer medications, treatments, and manage advanced life-support equipment in accordance with protocols Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members for optimal care planning and delivery Respond quickly and efficiently to changes in patient conditions or emergencies Educate patients and their families regarding clinical procedures, expectations, and post-discharge care as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation of care given and patient status Uphold infection control and safety standards within the ICU at all times This contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance to utilize your nursing expertise in intensive care while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.
