Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing setting required BLS certification (current) Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team Familiarity with electronic health records/documentation
Responsibilities:
Deliver quality nursing care to adult patients recovering from surgery or dealing with acute medical conditions Monitor and assess patient vitals, progress, and responses to treatment plans Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient care Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and continued care instructions Document all assessments, interventions, and patient updates accurately and in a timely manner Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment by adhering to all facility and regulatory policies Enjoy an assignment where your skills are appreciated and growth is encouraged.
