Schedule/Hours:
Two shifts of 10 hours each One shift of 12 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license, valid in the state of Alabama (or compact state) BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing, sterile techniques, and surgical instrumentation Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered perioperative care in a busy operating room environment Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists to ensure safe and efficient procedures Monitor and assess patient responses during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases Uphold stringent infection control and safety protocols Document patient information and surgical details with high attention to accuracy
