Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience ACLS and BLS certifications required Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, patient monitoring, and sterile techniques Proficiency in responding to cardiac emergencies and operating specialized Cath Lab equipment Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity settingPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses throughout procedures Administer medications and assist physicians with catheter insertions, angioplasties, and other interventions Maintain sterile fields and ensure the proper functioning of Cath Lab equipment Educate patients and families on procedures, what to expect, and post-procedure care Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control policies, and best practices for patient safety Accurately document all aspects of care, medications administered, and procedural details This contract role is ideal for professionals who bring commitment, clinical excellence, and compassion to their work.
