Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Seeking a versatile Registered Nurse with experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry for a contract role. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on continuous monitoring and acute patient needs. 7a-7p shifts
Qualifications:
Current valid RN license required Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry settings Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system is a must Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills BLS and ACLS certifications preferred Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple patients
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatment, and ongoing patient assessment Monitor telemetry for rhythm changes and notify providers of any significant findings Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate patient-specific care plans Educate patients and their families about conditions, medications, and care pathways Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner system, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and standards Respond promptly to changes in patient status and participate in rapid response activities as needed
