Job Description
Desired Background & Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year recent OR nursing experience BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and safety protocols Proficiency with documentation and electronic health records Excellent communication, multitasking, and critical-thinking abilities Calm efficiency under pressure and strong collaboration skills with surgical teamsCore Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment is sterile and functional Circulate and/or scrub as needed throughout various surgical procedures Monitor patient status and vital signs, responding rapidly to changes Maintain accurate records and communicate critical information to surgeons and anesthesia providers Provide emotional support and education to patients before and after procedures Safeguard adherence to infection control and hospital policiesBenefits & Perks:
