Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Take on a pivotal position providing expert care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting. As a Registered Nurse with experience in Cath Lab environments, you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver specialized nursing support to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Your advanced clinical knowledge and detail-oriented approach will foster quality outcomes for patients and contribute to the smooth operation of the department during this contract assignment.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab RN experience Comprehensive understanding of cardiac procedures and patient care protocols Proficient in monitoring patients during and after procedures Strong assessment skills and the ability to act quickly in emergency situations Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Support physicians and technologists during cardiac catheterizations and related procedures Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document all aspects of patient care Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care Educate patients and families regarding procedures, aftercare, and follow-up Maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental protocols Ensure equipment is prepared, hazardous materials are handled safely, and the lab environment is clean and safe This contract opportunity gives you the chance to showcase your expertise in cardiac nursing and make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
