Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive excellence in guest services, manage daily hotel functions, and ensure the property operates smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. Your leadership will inspire teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of hospitality management. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with extensive hotel experience, multilingual skills, and a passion for creating welcoming environments that exceed guest expectations. Duties Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery. Supervise and motivate hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial planning to maximize profitability. Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to deliver outstanding guest experiences consistently. Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and guest data management. Lead human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring high levels of customer service across all departments. Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, night audit procedures, and managing hospitality-related financial transactions. Coordinate with departments to ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Enhance operational efficiency by leveraging technology such as multi-line phone systems, front desk software, and property management tools. Experience Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong background in overseeing daily hotel operations within resort or hotel environments. Demonstrated success in revenue management, budgeting, and financial operations within the hospitality industry. Experience with hospitality reservation systems (e.g., PMS), Opera property management systems (PMS), and night audit procedures. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently and foster a collaborative work environment. Prior experience managing hospitality teams in customer service-focused settings such as resorts or hotels is preferred. Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee development within the hospitality sector. Familiarity with front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is advantageous.
