Schedule/Hours:
Two 10-hour shifts per week One 12-hour shift per week
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery in the main campus OR Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is sterilized and functioning Monitor patient status and quickly respond to any changes in condition Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedure activities Uphold best practices for patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license Previous experience as an Operating Room RN BLS and ACLS certifications (as required) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Competency in a broad range of surgical procedures and equipment
