Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license At least one year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) unit Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Current BLS certification required Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and unit demands Proficient with electronic medical records and standard nursing documentation Willingness to engage in patient and family educationResponsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Med Surg unit, including assessment, care planning, and evaluation Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the medical team Monitor patient status, promptly identifying and reporting changes in condition Work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and implement patient care plans Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Uphold safety, infection control, and patient privacy protocols at all times This is a valuable opportunity to develop your skills, expand your nursing experience, and make a tangible difference in patient outcomes within a respected healthcare facility.
