Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic nursing environment, providing expert care in an intensive care unit setting. This role centers on patient-focused interventions, critical thinking, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal outcomes for high-acuity patients.
Key responsibilities include:
Assessing and continuously monitoring critically ill patients, identifying changes in patient condition Administering medications, managing ventilators, and performing life-saving interventions as needed Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Educating patients' families regarding treatments, progress, and ongoing care needs Maintaining accurate patient documentation and adhering to established protocols and safety standards Participating in code blue and rapid response situations with confidence and composure Qualifications and competencies required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Demonstrated experience in an ICU or critical care setting Proficient in cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and intravenous therapies Proven ability to respond effectively under pressure and in emergency situations Strong communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team BLS and ACLS certifications required This contract opportunity offers a chance to expand your skills in a fast-paced ICU environment, working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.
