Job Description

PURPOSE Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation; teaching patients, family and ancillary personnel while performing nursing care duties. Emergency Room experience required. SCOPE To function within the Rules and Regulations established by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing for Registered Nursing practice. Assesses patients demonstrating competence initially and ongoing. Implements nursing process to manage patient care problems. Develops and updates plan of care based on specific patient needs. Assists physician with orders, treatments, exams, medications, and equipment. Evaluates patient response/outcomes to interventions/treatments. Manages, prioritizes, and completes work assignments. Demonstrates competence in administration of all routes of medications. Communicates pertinent information at change of shift, during patient transfers, to physicians, and appropriate personnel. Completes monthly in-services, to include safe injection practices. Utilizes safe injection practices when drawing up and administering medications.
Pay:
$28.00 - $42.00 per hour
