Locums About the Facility This full-service acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned coverage periods. About the Facility Location Hot Springs, Arkansas offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of natural, cultural, and recreational attractions. The city is home to Hot Springs National Park, which features thermal springs and historic bathhouses along Central Avenue, as well as art galleries, boutique shops, and live music venues. Clinicians may also explore the Gangster Museum of America, Magic Springs Theme and Water Park, and the Mid-America Science Museum, along with outdoor activities such as mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, and watersports at Lake Hamilton, Lake Catherine, and Lake Ouachita in the surrounding Ouachita Mountains region. About the Clinician's Workday The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner will work 12-hour shifts during day and night coverage periods in a medium-acuity, 32-bed Emergency Department, evaluating and treating a broad range of emergency cases alongside physicians and other APPs. Clinicians will have access to extensive specialty support while providing care within a collaborative Level II Trauma Center environment. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this position.
