1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a combined Med/Surg-Post Partum unit on nights, requiring 1+ years of Med/Surg experience and comfort with a mixed patient population. Details Combined Med/Surg and Post Partum unit within a women's hospital setting Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM 12-week contract assignment Must be comfortable caring for a combined Med/Surg and Post Partum patient population Requirements Active RN license (AR state or compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required NRP certification required, though it may be completed prior to start if not held at time of application Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Valid driver's license and US Social Security number required for consideration Additional Information Provide nursing care across combined Med/Surg and Post Partum patient populations Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Previous CHS facility perm staff employment within the past 2 years disqualifies candidates from consideration for this travel position First-time travelers may be considered for this role
