Cardiovascular RN:
Monday- Friday:
Typical hours 6:30- 3:00. Position will require call.

This position is based within Jefferson Regional Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab. Please look at posting as to which department this is for.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients in the procedural labs (Cardiac Cath Lab and IVR). This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution.
Cardiovascular RN Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical Diploma in Nursing required. Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current Arkansas Registered Nurse Licensure requiredBLS/CPR required upon hire or obtain prior to patient care. ACLS and PALS required within 1 year of hire.

Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, with excellent critical thinking and decision making skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for on-call shiftsBasic proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient careAdequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teamsBasic flexibility to adapt to changes in patient conditions and unit priorities.
Preferred Requirements:
Extensive experience in a variety of surgical specialtiesProficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systemsLeadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor and train other staff members2+ years of experience in perioperative nursing

Monday through Friday 07:00am - 3:30 pm with the obligation of being on a scheduled call rotation and live within 40 minutes of the hospital.
