Are you an RN? The Springs of Broadway is looking for a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse to join our team. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing, the Treatment Nurse is responsible for the skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents' attending physicians, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. We are looking for a diligent
TEAM PLAYER
to add their vast skills and knowledge about wound care and treatments to our amazing team. Our treatment nurse provides care to our residents suffering from various health issues. Preventing wounds as well as treating them. Educating team members and patients on wound prevention and great nutrition to help prevent and heal wounds. RN preferred, LTC experience required, Wound Care experience required If an LPN - wound care certification is required Administer and document treatments Communicate the status of the residents to other nurses and doctors Assess resident reaction to medications and treatments Confer with the DON and/or other licensed personnel regarding dermatological disorders of the residents Plan, develop skin care treatments to ber performed Initiate requests for consults, referrals as needed.
