Essential Job Functions Lead, supervise, and coordinate care for residents and CNAs, ensuring a seamless and efficient care experience. Assume responsibility for all resident medications, including controlled substances, upholding the highest standards of accountability. Safeguard medication storage areas through diligent adherence to security protocols, ensuring residents' well-being. Foster a culture of education and knowledge for residents under your care, enriching their healthcare journey. Efficiently manage CNA assignments and delegate special tasks within the CNA scope of practice. Conduct comprehensive rounds for all residents, ensuring the faithful execution of Care Plans. Uphold physician orders, whether verbal or written, with meticulous attention to detail within your scope. Demonstrate precision in all aspects of your work, particularly in thorough and accurate documentation. Maintain accurate documentation, including medication administration records, treatment records, and nurse charting. Complete all assigned MDS assessments and provide detailed, truthful reporting. Promptly report any errors to the ADON/DON, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement. Streamline the tracking of central supply items for each resident. Vigilantly report any witnessed or suspected abuse to the DON, ADON, or Administrator, safeguarding resident well-being. Provide "on-call" support to nursing staff as scheduled by the Administrator, ensuring seamless care delivery.
