We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology practice. The NP/PA will work closely with our cardiologists providing care to patients primarily in the outpatient cardiology office , with hospital rounding as needed . Responsibilities Evaluate and manage new and established cardiology patients Perform histories, physical exams, and follow-up visits Manage common cardiovascular conditions including hypertension, CAD, CHF, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia Review diagnostic testing, labs, ECGs, cardiac monitors, echocardiograms, and stress test results Manage medications and provide patient education Provide post-hospital and post-procedure follow-up Assist with hospital rounding and cardiology consults as needed Coordinate care with cardiologists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Arizona Board certified BLS required; ACLS preferred Cardiology experience preferred, but not required Strong clinical and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative cardiology team Must be able to obtain hospital privileges Position Full-Time We offer a professional and supportive work environment with the opportunity to work closely with experienced cardiologists while providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in both the outpatient and hospital settings.
