Job Description

Job Summary Better Horizons is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team serving the East Valley communities, including Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Queen Creek. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR/EHR systems. Administer medications and injections accurately following aseptic technique and hospital protocols. Review patient medical records and recommend appropriate care environment prior to any intake. Work with team of behavioral health technicians to establish and reconcile medication administration records monthly. Act of Chief Medical Officer for the organization. Guide leadership on medical decision and educate staff on medication error reporting and avoidance. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure meticulous medical documentation for all patient interactions. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration in the state of Arizona. Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital medicine or long-term care facilities. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, or Practice Fusion is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures. Experience providing specialized nursing services including behavioral health is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork. Pay:
$34.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 20.0 per week
