Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator

Ambulatory Surgery Center in Gilbert, Arizona, is seeking experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses to build their professional team. Full-time positions with company growth and development. Recent OR circulator experience is required, preferably in a multi-specialty setting. Strong communication skills a must Must be able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and facilitate throughput Excellent organizational and time-management skills Must be a team player, motivated to seek out opportunities to assist others Ability to build physician relationships is key Comfortable with EMR documentation and working in a paperless, "go green" environment Strong knowledge of AORN guidelines and ASPAN recovery standards Experience in robotics, general, urology, gyn, and breast is required Duties include (but are not limited to) the following: Assist in OR set-up, and perform the appropriate skin prep Assists anesthesiologist with positioning and the comfort/safety of patient Performs concise OR documentation Observes, checks and monitors all equipment used during surgery to confirm they are running smoothly Accurate log keeping of pathology specimens and implants Facilitates rapid OR turnover times while maintaining safe patient care Participates in the Surgical Time Out with the surgical team Coordinates the OR sponge, needle and instrument counts before and after each case Assists with required regulatory documentation and tracking Assists with preparing surgical trays and ordering supplies

Operating Schedule:

Monday-Friday 0700 to 1700 (variable) with weekends and major holidays off.

Salary:

$40-$52/hour -

DOE Experience:

6 years minimum as circulating

RN Licensure:

Registered Nurse, in good standing with the state of

Arizona Education:

BSN (preferred) BLS and ACLS (required)
