Oro Valley Hospital is seeking a compassionate ER Nurse to join our close-knit night shift team. In this role, you will deliver top-notch, patient-centered care, coordinating with healthcare professionals to stabilize and treat patients in critical moments. What You Will Do Rapid Triage & Assessment :

Quickly evaluate patient conditions to prioritize care and stabilize patients entering the Emergency Department.

Direct Patient Care :

Administer medications, monitor side effects, and operate vital medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, ventilators).

Emergency Interventions :

Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, conduct procedures (e.g., intubation, wound care, suturing), and participate in life-saving interventions and code teams.

Collaborative Care :

Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Documentation & Compliance :

Promptly and accurately document patient care in medical records while adhering to regulatory standards, infection control protocols, and National Patient Safety Goals.

Patient Advocacy & Education:

Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care in a compassionate manner. Required Qualifications & Experience 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting (Required) 1+ years of RN Emergency Department experience (Preferred) Required Licenses & Certifications RN

• Registered Nurse
• State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure (Required) BCLS
• Basic Life Support (Required) ACLS
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) PALS
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required) NRP
• Neonatal Resuscitation (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong foundation in clinical nursing practices and the nursing process.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills for clinical documentation. Solid understanding of safety standards and quality improvement initiatives.
