$15,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible, experienced RNs! About the Role Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make an impact in a fast-paced Emergency Room? Oro Valley Hospital is seeking a compassionate ER Nurse to join our close-knit night shift team. In this role, you will deliver top-notch, patient-centered care, coordinating with healthcare professionals to stabilize and treat patients in critical moments. Quickly evaluate patient conditions to prioritize care and stabilize patients entering the Emergency Department.Direct Patient Care :
Administer medications, monitor side effects, and operate vital medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, ventilators).Emergency Interventions :
Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, conduct procedures (e.g., intubation, wound care, suturing), and participate in life-saving interventions and code teams.Collaborative Care :
Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.Documentation & Compliance :
Promptly and accurately document patient care in medical records while adhering to regulatory standards, infection control protocols, and National Patient Safety Goals.Patient Advocacy & Education:
Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care in a compassionate manner. Required Qualifications & Experience 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting (Required) 1+ years of RN Emergency Department experience (Preferred) Required Licenses & Certifications RN- Registered Nurse
- State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure (Required) BCLS
- Basic Life Support (Required) ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) PALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required) NRP
- Neonatal Resuscitation (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong foundation in clinical nursing practices and the nursing process.
