Travel Pediatric / Family Nurse Practitioner Navajo Nation, AZ $4,846/Week Gross | $121.15/Hour Blended Rate | Weekly Pay We are hiring a Travel Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner to support outpatient, urgent care, and teen clinic services at an Indian Health Service facility on the Navajo Nation in Pinon, Arizona. This is a high-need rural assignment with strong, transparent pay and immediate start dates available.

  • $90/hour taxable base rate
  • $135/hour for approved overtime
  • $1,246/week per diem (lodging & meals)

Location:
Pinon Health Center, Pinon, AZ (Navajo Nation / Chinle Service Unit, Indian Health Service)
    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, day shift; occasional rotation into Urgent Care and Teen Clinic
    • Assignment length: 13-week contract, with long-term extension available
    Setting:
    Outpatient primary care, urgent care walk-in, and adolescent/teen clinic serving a Navajo pediatric and family population What You'll Do
    • Provide outpatient primary and urgent care to pediatric and family patients
    • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
    • Document care in the facility's electronic health record system
    • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and allied health staff
    • Participate in on-site orientation and required compliance training Requirements
    • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
    • Board certification appropriate to specialty (ANCC or AANP)
    • Current DEA registration (Schedules II-V)
    • Current BLS certification (PALS/ACLS strongly preferred)
    • Minimum 6 months of recent NP experience in Family Practice or Pediatrics
    • Ability to pass a federal background investigation (OPM eQIP) and complete IHS credentialing prior to start Why This Assignment
