Job Description

WSi Healthcare Personnel seeks compassionate Registered Nurses for correctional healthcare assignments across Colorado. In this role, you'll deliver direct patient care to incarcerated adults, completing assessments, triage, wound care, medication administration, and emergency response. You'll collaborate with onsite providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care in a secure facility. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients, including assessments and vital signs Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per provider orders Perform triage and respond to urgent and emergent situations within the facility Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans Document all patient care in EMR accurately and timely Follow correctional health, safety, and security protocols at all times Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and self-care Participate in orientation and ongoing training offered by WSi Healthcare Personnel Required Skills Patient assessment Medication administration Wound care IV therapy Emergency response Care planning Electronic medical records (EMR) Infection control Vital signs monitoring Correctional healthcare protocols
