The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing quality patient care in various settings, including long-term care and geriatrics. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients' health and well-being, working under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Duties Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Conduct physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health. Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively. Assist with catheter care and sterile processing of medical equipment. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician. Administer injections and other medical procedures as required. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice. Experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or critical care preferred. Proficiency in triage, catheter care, sterile processing, and administering injections. Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and conducting physical examinations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality nursing care.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
