Job Description

Operating Room Circulating Nurse - Ophthalmic Surgery Center The Surgery Center of Anaheim Hills is a modern, fully accredited outpatient surgery center dedicated exclusively to ophthalmic surgery. Our facility is equipped with advanced ophthalmic surgical technology, and our team is focused on providing an exceptional experience for both our patients and surgeons. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Operating Room Circulating Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment and will have experience with ophthalmic procedures. We are looking for someone who takes pride in excellent patient care, works well as part of a close-knit surgical team, and understands the importance of efficiency, organization, safety, and attention to detail in the operating room.
Responsibilities include:
Circulating for ophthalmic surgical procedures Preparing and maintaining the operating room for scheduled cases Providing attentive and compassionate care before, during, and after surgery Assisting the surgeon and surgical team with efficient room turnover and case flow Maintaining appropriate sterile technique and infection-control standards Completing required OR documentation Ensuring compliance with facility policies, accreditation standards, and patient-safety protocols Working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technicians, nurses, and administrative staff
Preferred Qualifications:
Current California RN license Previous operating room/circulating nurse experience Ophthalmology or ambulatory surgery center experience strongly preferred Familiarity with cataract and other ophthalmic surgical procedures Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented Comfortable working efficiently in a specialized outpatient surgical environment This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OR nurse who enjoys ophthalmology and would like to work in a specialized surgical center with an experienced eye-surgery team. Pay:
$45.00 - $65.00 per hour
