Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid RN license and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential (or eligibility). Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred. Strong clinical assessment and documentation abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff. Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care, first aid, and health assessments to students. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized health care plans. Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to support student wellness and safety. Conduct vision/hearing screenings and maintain accurate health records. Manage medication administration in compliance with school policies. Serve as a health resource for the wider school community, promoting public health education and disease prevention. Support compliance with state and district health regulations.
