Schedule/Hours:

10-hour mid shifts: 6:30 am - 5:00 pm On-call required: Weekday shifts may extend until 11:00 pm at least once per week Weekend call: At least one continuous weekend (Friday 6:30 am through Monday 6:30 am) per 6-week period 18-week contract assignment, starting August 3, 2026

Qualifications:

Current, valid RN license Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher RNFA certification required BLS and ACLS certifications At least 2 years of recent experience assisting in the operating room Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Detail-oriented with strong technical, assessment, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure a safe, effective surgical environment Provide direct, hands-on assistance during operative and invasive procedures Perform preoperative and postoperative patient assessments Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Follow all infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards Support patient and family education regarding operative care and recovery This contract offers a unique setting to further hone your perioperative skills while contributing to patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.
