Calabasas, CA Job Description XPRT Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for per diem shifts at Calabasas Surgery Center . The ideal candidate must have strong circulating experience, particularly in total joint orthopedics, and be ready to step into a fast-paced environment with minimal orientation.
Position Overview Shift:
Day Shift (Monday - Friday, potential for occasional Saturdays)
Hours:
8-hour shifts | 06:00 AM - 3:30
PM Employment Type:
Per Diem Charting:
Paper Charting Requirements Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent OR / Circulating experience.
Specialty:
Strong Orthopedic experience, including Total Joint cases (Required).
Licensure:
Active, unencumbered California RN License.
Certifications:
Current
BLS & ACLS
(American Heart Association ONLY).
References:
At least 1 Supervisor or Manager reference from within the last 2 years (2 references preferred).
Affiliation Restriction:
Must have a minimum 1-year separation period from any Cedars-affiliated hospitals (including Cedars-Sinai and Huntington Health).
Immunization:
Annual Flu Vaccination required (No exemptions permitted per facility policy). Preferred Qualifications Conscious Sedation experience.
Orientation & Training Pre-Start Modules:
4 hours of self-paced online learning modules.
System Training:
4 hours of Epic training.
Facility Onboarding:
No formal clinical orientation provided. You will shadow during your first cases on Day 1, but candidates are expected to hit the ground running immediately.
