Job Description
Rana is an ecological design firm specializing in landscape architecture, habitat restoration, native plant propagation and landscape construction. Our firm is rooted in the traditions of science and ecology, with a mission to restore biodiversity and preserve healthy ecosystems through an integrated design process. Rana Creek works on a variety of landscape design/build projects, habitat restoration and seed collection projects, and landscape construction projects throughout California. We are seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting nursery products safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving, equipment handling, and horticulture.
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport nursery stock to customers and pick up shipments from vendors. Load and unload plant material using pallet jacks and forklifts. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report any issues. Other duties are required as necessary or as directed by theNursery Manager Required Qualifications:
Applicant must possess a valid Driver's License with clean driving record. Proven delivery professional driving experience (non-entry level). Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts. Clean driving record with a strong safety history. Basic horticulture knowledge and plant handling experience.Fluent in English (spoken and written)
