Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Moderate Sedation Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in patient care, including sedation procedures. This role involves providing safe and effective sedation management across multiple specialties. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and infection control standards. Responsibilities Administer moderate sedation in accordance with established protocols across various specialties including pain management and GI. Monitor patients continuously during sedation to ensure safety and stability; respond promptly to adverse reactions or complications. Manage airway patency using aseptic technique; operate ventilators and other critical care equipment as needed. Perform laboratory specimen collection/processing, IV insertion and medication administration including injections. Requirements Valid RN license with current state registration;
BLS/ACLS
certification required. Proven expertise in sedation techniques within outpatient or inpatient environments; familiarity with procedural sedation protocols is essential. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in procedural settings. Critical care experience preferred.. $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
