1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level II Trauma emergency department requiring 5 years of experience and a CA RN license. Details Level II Trauma emergency department setting Patient ratio of 1:4 Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Every other weekend required Epic charting system experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required Minimum 5 years of ER nursing experience required Level II Trauma experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Required certifications:
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
(AHA or ARC only) Skilled in BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients Skilled in interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) Skilled in IV therapy/phlebotomy and central line care/management Skilled in administration of emergency medications, continuous IV sedation, and IV vasopressors Skilled in procedural sedation administration/monitoring Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE and triage protocols 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required Additional Information Deliver emergency nursing care including triage, medication administration, and monitoring of critical patients Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate Returning staff must have a break of at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
