1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Obstetrics Acute unit position requiring CA RN licensure and specialized certifications including NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., and Fetal Heart Monitoring. Details Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of a full-service community and regional teaching hospital Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 36 or 48-hour shift options available Requirements Active CA RN license required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) NRP certification required (AHA-NRP or
ARC-NALS

S.T.A.B.L.E.
certification required ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required Minimum two years of experience in specialty required Recent experience in submitted specialty within the last three months required Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care plans Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, healing care Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, local rates same as travel rates Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined Candidates with prior licensure or certification issues will not be considered
