Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract position supporting students across a variety of educational environments. This full-time role offers an engaging schedule of 40 hours a week, providing care and health guidance within PreK programs and schools in the surrounding area.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California California School Nurse Credential required Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric settings highly preferred Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills Familiarity with PreK-12 student health needs, including chronic condition management and emergency response Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and external healthcare providers
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing services to students, including medication administration, management of injuries and illnesses, and emergency interventions Support the health and wellness of students in PreK, elementary, and district school settings Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with medical needs Promote a healthy, safe, and inclusive environment for all children Conduct health screenings, maintain accurate health records, and ensure compliance with state and district regulations Serve as a resource and advocate for students, families, and staff on health-related matters This is a wonderful opportunity to enrich student wellbeing across multiple campuses in a vibrant region.
