$2,365.50/week - $2,607.70/week Position Overview Provide acute-care nursing to telemetry patients with a cardiac focus and general medical overflow. Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac medications, and provide comprehensive patient care. Position Details Days and nights available 12-hour shifts Patient ratio: 1:4 First to float between Med Surg and Telemetry Self-scheduling available; schedules finalized by the manager Floor orientation: 1-2 days with a preceptor Navy scrubs; undershirts must be navy, white, or black Scrub jackets optional, but must be navy Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients. Monitor and interpret EKG and telemetry strips. Care for cardiac patients and general medical overflow. Manage stable, non-titrating Cardizem, amiodarone, and heparin. Monitor patient conditions and promptly respond to changes. Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams. Participate in bedside shift reporting and interdisciplinary rounds. Float between Med Surg and Telemetry as required. Requirements Active RN license Minimum 2 years of RN Tele or MS tele experience BLS, ACLS and NIHSS Ability to read and interpret EKG strips Basic dysrhythmia exam through UNA required before acceptance; must be completed within 24-48 hours of assignment, with two attempts permitted.
