1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, and PALS certification for night shift coverage. Details Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM 13-week contract assignment Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification required (AHA or ARC approved vendor) ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) PALS certification required (AHA-PALS or
ARC-PALS
) Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required, within the last 3 months BSN degree preferred Acute care facility experience preferred No prior adverse licensure action permitted Cerner or Epic experience must be documented in employment history if applicable Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members Required to complete facility vaccination requirements as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local pay rates match travel rates Traveler may only be placed at one facility within the health system at a time
