• Position Overview
• The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher, and/or supervising designee.

The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal care, physical mobility, and therapeutic needs as directed by qualified educational and healthcare professionals.

• Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work effectively with students and educational staff
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification, if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
• Current Health Certificate, if required by contract or state regulations
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
