Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for respite care during day shift in La Habra. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to young adult female with mild intellectual disability. She has a G tube for intermiitant feedings. Stand by assist for ADL.s. The hours are Sunday through Thursday 10A to 6P. Duties Deliver direct patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic nursing procedures such as tube feeding and emotional support. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status and identify immediate needs or changes in condition. Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems daily by end of shift Provide emotional support and clear communication to clients and their families, fostering trust and understanding. Follow infection control procedures diligently Qualifications Valid CA LVN license in good standing t state licensing boards. Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Knowledge of medical terminology, EMR/EHR systems Skilled in medication administration, GT care and managementI Strong assessment skills combined with excellent caregiver communication abilities.
