Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day assignment starting Sep 21, 2026, in California. This full-time role involves an 8-hour shift schedule and focuses on providing comprehensive women's healthcare. The selected professional will manage a diverse patient panel, including prenatal and postpartum care, contraceptive counseling, and wellness exams, seeing approximately 10 scheduled patients per half day. Responsibilities and Duties Manage a dedicated panel of established and new OB/GYN patients. Provide comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care. Conduct contraceptive counseling, abnormal bleeding assessments, and hormone counseling. Perform routine wellness exams. Demonstrate proficiency in Nexplanon insertion and removal. Possess strong skills in IUD insertions and removals (highly preferred). Handle scheduled in-person and occasional phone appointments for OB patients. Collaborate with onsite physicians for high-risk OB patients while managing general OB caseloads. Additional Information Board certified as a Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic. Approximately 10 patients scheduled per half day. Collaborative environment with physicians on-site for high-risk OB patients.
