A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

As a member of our NOC shift team, you will help ensure our residents receive attentive, quality care throughout the night. Your clinical judgment, calming presence, and dedication will make a meaningful difference in their comfort, safety, and well-being. What You'll Do Provide compassionate nursing care that respects each resident's dignity, preferences, and individual needs. Perform nursing assessments, monitor residents' conditions, and respond promptly to changes. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established care plans. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care, observations, and resident responses. Communicate changes in condition and concerns to physicians, nursing leadership, and families as appropriate. Provide direction and support to LVNs and CNAs to promote coordinated care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals and continuity of care. Assist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing needs during the shift. Follow infection-prevention practices and promote a safe, comfortable environment. Provide reassurance and support to residents and families. Deliver thorough shift reports to ensure a smooth transition between care teams. What You'll Bring Current, active California Registered Nurse license in good standing. Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current CPR/BLS certification. Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Sound clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize resident needs. A dependable, team-oriented approach and a positive attitude. A passion for caring for others and making residents feel valued. Availability to work the NOC shift.
