Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. We are a multispecialty surgical center. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support a wide range of clinical services, from acute care to long-term and specialty care environments. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques, including IV infusions, catheter care, and medication management Assist with diagnostic procedures such as laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, ultrasound (sonography), and catheterization procedures in various settings including hospital medicine and outpatient clinics Coordinate discharge planning, case management Manage emergency situations by implementing critical care response protocols like airway management, acute pain management, trauma response Maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Requirements Valid RN license in the applicable state or jurisdiction 10 years experience is highly desirable Experience in surgery centers is highly desirable Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; experience in geriatrics or memory care is highly desirable Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures Critical care experience including ICU or trauma center exposure; experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings is advantageous Demonstrated ability to perform sterile procedures such as suturing and ostomy care; proficiency in IV insertion and venipuncture techniques Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to triage effectively in fast-paced environments like emergency rooms or urgent care clinics Knowledge of infection control practices and infection prevention protocols across healthcare settings Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while adhering to OSHA standards and HIPAA confidentiality requirements Join us to deliver compassionate nursing care that transforms lives!
