1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum position requiring 3 years of experience and expertise in high-risk obstetric and magnesium sulfate postpartum care. Details Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum unit in an acute care Magnet hospital Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30 Patient ratio of 1:4 On-call responsibilities required Rotational floating required within division to competency, including L&D for recoveries and NICU to assist with feeding, soothing, and changing babies as directed Epic EMR used for charting Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 3 years of experience in Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum required Experience with high-risk obstetric patients and magnesium sulfate postpartum care required Epic EMR experience required Pending license not accepted Additional Information Provide couplet care nursing for mother-baby patients, including high-risk obstetric and postpartum magnesium sulfate care Any scrub color accepted L&D and OR scrubs provided Free parking available First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility RTO must be noted at time of submittal
