As a Registered Nurse working 1:1 with a student during their assessment period, youll play a crucial role in ensuring safety and providing exceptional care. Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Current, active RN license in California Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Strong clinical assessment, care coordination, and documentation skills Ability to foster trust and rapport with students and their support circles Adaptability for changing needs in a school setting Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 evidence-based nursing support for a student during their assessment period Monitor health status, administer prescribed treatments, and respond to health emergencies as needed Maintain accurate and thorough health records and documentation Communicate effectively with educators, family members, and allied professionals to coordinate care Serve as an advocate for student health and promote a healthy learning environment Uphold strict confidentiality and professional ethical standards at all times Youll find this assignment to be both meaningful and well-structured, with opportunities to develop new skills while making an immediate difference.
