1 Description American Traveler is hiring a PreOp RN with CA licensure and admissions experience for a day-shift assignment supporting a busy outpatient clinic. Details PreOp unit within a clinic setting providing direct and indirect patient care to patients and families Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM No weekend requirements On-call as needed May be required to float to Endo as needed Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Admissions experience required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Additional Information Conduct comprehensive patient assessments encompassing physiological, spiritual, and emotional needs Collaborate with physicians and mid-level practitioners to coordinate and adjust patient care plans Administer medications and therapeutic agents per physician or provider orders Delegate tasks appropriately based on team members' scope of practice and skill level Provide patient and family education using teach-back methods to ensure understanding Uphold confidentiality of patient health information at all times Support clinic operations including supply ordering, staff orientation, and training Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler Only one holiday will be approved for RTO during the assignment
