Skills Proven experience working with children in various healthcare settings including hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or neonatal intensive care units (NICU). Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques like sonography or spinal taps, and clinical assessment skills. Ability to perform advanced procedures including IV insertion, tube feeding management, ventilator support, and sterile processing techniques. Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation. Experience in telehealth platforms to provide remote consultations effectively. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate families on complex medical topics compassionately and clearly.
